How it all began

Ralph and I have been together since the summer of 2008 but it all began in 1992. Ralph's sister, Colleen and I have been best friends since 6th grade and we grew up at each other's houses throughout the years. Ralph was always around but being the younger brother was forbidden to be around us (not that he wanted to make up dances with us). We said hi during high school and when I needed a jersey to wear to school on Fridays, Ralph was nice enough to let me wear his. He visited Kent State while I was there once to look at the football team and campus but decided against attending. He joined the Marine Corps and we spoke through emails every now and then just to see how the other was doing. Life went on and our paths finally crossed again in 2008 when Colleen invited me to their families yearly 4th of July party. Ralph was home on leave from Iraq and I just moved back to Cincinnati. This time when we saw each other things seemed a little different and the rest is history. In December 2011 we were engaged, July 2012 we were married, April 2013 we bought our first house and March 2014 we had our first child, Braxten! Each year has been more blessed than the last and we are so excited to see where our future takes us!

15 month visit for Kane!

Kane is 31 inches long, 23b 8 ounces. She walks like a champ, tries to run but still doesn't quite bend her knees enough to be successful, climbs on everything, jumps on the trampoline, shakes her hips and dances to any sound, smiles like an angel and screams like a monster, she can be the sweetest little girl giving kisses and hugs or can lay on the floor kicking and screaming in a tantrum. Kane is a determined, strong willed and beautiful little girl that we are so lucky to have the chance to watch grow. Her frustration seems to be fading as she talks so well. She will repeat anything you say and has begun to put small phrases together on her own. Hi  Mommy, Daddy and anyone else in the family, "up please", "fall over", "big truck", "love you" are a few of her favorites. She will be talking in full sentences before we know it. Kane wears 18 month clothes but fits into 18-24month without a problem. She is in size 4 shoes for a short time longer. She is our sassy sweet baby Kane and couldn't imagine life without her! Love you baby girl!

Outside All Day! August 21st

Sometimes the sun is shining and there is no better place to be than outside! We played out ALL DAY! Went for walks, ran races in the back yard, "higher" on the swings and played on the stairs. B went to the store with Daddy and Kane played with sidewalk chalk, got in and out of her car a million times and gave just as many kisses to Mommy! Every time she got in she would give Mommy a kiss, say bye bye and get in just to get out and do it all again.

Seton Festival

No words for the love of this picture! All time favorite!

We go to Seton every year for the festival and each year the kids love it more and more. B rode as many rides as he could and Kane rode a few. We had a funnel cake and frozen lemonade. It was a great night out and a perfect change of pace for the kiddos.

Kane is growing up!

Kane is turning into a little ham! She loves smiling and being sassy! Our hands are full but we love her with everything we have! Sweet Baby Kane!

August 17th and 18th

Crazy girl is hanging and jumping like a monkey while B sat quietly reading his book and pointing out all the animals. He will be up in two seconds to join the fun!

Adult Day to Top Golf! So much fun!!!
