How it all began

Ralph and I have been together since the summer of 2008 but it all began in 1992. Ralph's sister, Colleen and I have been best friends since 6th grade and we grew up at each other's houses throughout the years. Ralph was always around but being the younger brother was forbidden to be around us (not that he wanted to make up dances with us). We said hi during high school and when I needed a jersey to wear to school on Fridays, Ralph was nice enough to let me wear his. He visited Kent State while I was there once to look at the football team and campus but decided against attending. He joined the Marine Corps and we spoke through emails every now and then just to see how the other was doing. Life went on and our paths finally crossed again in 2008 when Colleen invited me to their families yearly 4th of July party. Ralph was home on leave from Iraq and I just moved back to Cincinnati. This time when we saw each other things seemed a little different and the rest is history. In December 2011 we were engaged, July 2012 we were married, April 2013 we bought our first house and March 2014 we had our first child, Braxten! Each year has been more blessed than the last and we are so excited to see where our future takes us!

Bengals game with family!

What a great night out with Branden and Amanda! A warm night with great seats and a Bengals win (mattered to everyone else)!

"Pee Pee on the potty?" Kane was playing in the playroom today as B was at school and wanted to go pee pee on the potty and she did!!!! She has no idea that she is only 1.

These pictures are just shared to bring back memories later - Kane kept pushing her way front and back under my legs and B wouldn't let me put him down at all. Love being a Mommy with these two little monkeys, they keep me on my toes!

These kids - gotta love them!

Really no words needed! LOVE!

Mommy was at work today and got all kinds of fun pictures including a bright red nose and adorable kiddos sitting nicely on a rock (don't know how she did it). Made me smile at work!

This outfit is one of my favorites ever from the bow to the boots, so quick photo shoot haha. Braxten wanted his picture taken too but Kane kept walking in front of him - photo hog!

How is Braxten 2.5?!?!

What a day?! How long can you stay outside in a day - only come in for naps! We love to run and play and sit on the stairs, hang on bars, spin on the tire, explore everything and
even swing with Mommy!

We love the little cafe in Recreations - popcorn and pizza are whats for lunch! Kane really liked her popcorn today and Braxten was trying to share it with Pop as Missi talked to him on the phone. They both laid down after a morning of gymnastics, recreations and lunch haha.

We decided that we were tired of the fighting over B's comfy chair and we took a family trip to get one for Kane. It was a huge success! Braxten and Kane wanted to help with every step and Daddy was super giving them little jobs. Kane was so excited to have a chair like B's. Then outside for a little more time on the deck! Kane didn't want her clothes on so she went full diaper.
