How it all began

Ralph and I have been together since the summer of 2008 but it all began in 1992. Ralph's sister, Colleen and I have been best friends since 6th grade and we grew up at each other's houses throughout the years. Ralph was always around but being the younger brother was forbidden to be around us (not that he wanted to make up dances with us). We said hi during high school and when I needed a jersey to wear to school on Fridays, Ralph was nice enough to let me wear his. He visited Kent State while I was there once to look at the football team and campus but decided against attending. He joined the Marine Corps and we spoke through emails every now and then just to see how the other was doing. Life went on and our paths finally crossed again in 2008 when Colleen invited me to their families yearly 4th of July party. Ralph was home on leave from Iraq and I just moved back to Cincinnati. This time when we saw each other things seemed a little different and the rest is history. In December 2011 we were engaged, July 2012 we were married, April 2013 we bought our first house and March 2014 we had our first child, Braxten! Each year has been more blessed than the last and we are so excited to see where our future takes us!

Sharing germs and fun with Daddy

Sister was acting super silly this morning and as time went by she started getting red bumps all over her face, then arms, then everywhere. Poor girl.

The next day she was still spotted but looking cute in her ice cream dress

Practicing "Stop feet", he did a much better job than normal and actually waited for sister and I to catch up... baby steps!

Kane doesn't have a special blanket or stuffed animal yet but we caught her cuddling tight with her bear as she fell asleep.

The spots just getting worse but no fever and she is acting normal. Poor leopard.

Braxten then woke up with a fever in the middle of the night but is seemed to break and he was his normal busy self at Missi and Pop's. He loves yard work and even got to have a roll with Pop. When we eat rolls he says "Don't tell Pop" every time (same with chocolate milk haha).

Kane is taking advantage of B napping and playing with his favorite toys! Smart girl.

B woke up the next day with the rash starting on his face and it continued to cover his body but he had a fever and was acting pretty tired and cuddly.

As B was cuddling, Kane was being a monkey and climbing on everything.

Poor rash just getting worse. Benadryl and Zyrtec are helping a little, I think.

About one week later kids are feeling better and Mommy has a fever. Thank goodness no rash with it. Only 2 days later we were a healthy family again and back to normal.  No more sharing cups!

Tervis Tumbler ad - great for kids haha!

 Two more dresses!

Snap chat fun with B

Daddy is so much fun!!! So are his shoes - Daddy's Girl!

Wrestling is one of our favorite activities with Daddy! Braxten is all about tackling and Kane is close behind. It always ends in hugs and kisses!

We are learning to color - we might not have a long attention span but that's a great way to learn all kinds of new skills.
