How it all began

Ralph and I have been together since the summer of 2008 but it all began in 1992. Ralph's sister, Colleen and I have been best friends since 6th grade and we grew up at each other's houses throughout the years. Ralph was always around but being the younger brother was forbidden to be around us (not that he wanted to make up dances with us). We said hi during high school and when I needed a jersey to wear to school on Fridays, Ralph was nice enough to let me wear his. He visited Kent State while I was there once to look at the football team and campus but decided against attending. He joined the Marine Corps and we spoke through emails every now and then just to see how the other was doing. Life went on and our paths finally crossed again in 2008 when Colleen invited me to their families yearly 4th of July party. Ralph was home on leave from Iraq and I just moved back to Cincinnati. This time when we saw each other things seemed a little different and the rest is history. In December 2011 we were engaged, July 2012 we were married, April 2013 we bought our first house and March 2014 we had our first child, Braxten! Each year has been more blessed than the last and we are so excited to see where our future takes us!

November 2016

From making tents in the morning to hanging out outside and swinging in November, it is starting out as an adventurous month!

Sometimes this little girl wears an outfit that just has to be photographed!!!

Steph and Jon came in town so we went to Scene 75 for the first time and acted like kids for a few hours! It was such a great time!

Random date night with this stud! Love having time with one another!

Taking advantage of playing outside! Not sure how long the weather will be this nice so we will continue to play and watch Daddy collect off the leaves for us to jump into! This is the first time we have ever jumped into leaves and the kids loved it! These are the evenings that we will remember forever!

Quick stop in Cleveland on our way to New Jersey to see GG and GG Pop! Even though it was just one night it was so wonderful to see family and we look forward to stoping through on the way back!

Made it to Jersey and we are continuing our adventure with our first hotel stay! It was amazing to be able to see GG, GG Pop and Aunt Lynn with Uncle Jim. The visit was wonderful although sad and hard at the same time. So glad Kane was able to meet Papa even though neither kiddo may ever remember. Grandma was happy to have some laughter and liveliness in the apartment and I was so happy to be there for support and to say goodbye. The hardest goodbye I have ever had to say but no regrets for a long and challenging trip! Love our family!

Braxten literally ran to GG and threw his arms around her from way down the hallway with Kane to shortly follow. It was instant love and happy tears. It is almost as though they knew GG was in need of those hugs.

Kane was so tired and just wanted to have Missi cuddles - Missi was soaking up some serious love!

Yes our eyes are outrageously tired because kiddos are pretty terrible at sleeping in a hotel for the first time. Practice makes perfect but after this trip the practice sessions won't be for a very long time.

We found a really fun park to get out some energy after naps before dinner with GG!

GG and Kane loved to play on the floor with these blocks - Best GG ever crawling on the ground with a one year old! I really think grandma was embracing the happiness that
B and Kane brought to Jersey!

Thank you Lynn for a few pictures that we absolutely love!

Look Mommy - I find Daddy shorts!
Looking good B hahaha
