How it all began

Ralph and I have been together since the summer of 2008 but it all began in 1992. Ralph's sister, Colleen and I have been best friends since 6th grade and we grew up at each other's houses throughout the years. Ralph was always around but being the younger brother was forbidden to be around us (not that he wanted to make up dances with us). We said hi during high school and when I needed a jersey to wear to school on Fridays, Ralph was nice enough to let me wear his. He visited Kent State while I was there once to look at the football team and campus but decided against attending. He joined the Marine Corps and we spoke through emails every now and then just to see how the other was doing. Life went on and our paths finally crossed again in 2008 when Colleen invited me to their families yearly 4th of July party. Ralph was home on leave from Iraq and I just moved back to Cincinnati. This time when we saw each other things seemed a little different and the rest is history. In December 2011 we were engaged, July 2012 we were married, April 2013 we bought our first house and March 2014 we had our first child, Braxten! Each year has been more blessed than the last and we are so excited to see where our future takes us!

Oh the faces of Kane

Too bad Kane has such a mild personality haha. She is so much fun and just loves to make crazy faces. She is one special little lady.

Play date with Blake and Adelynn! We love going to the Ventre house. B and Blake run around following each other and Kane normally plays with all the new toys. Adeline sleeps or has three kids in her face saying Baby over and over again. We are so lucky to have such great friends.

Kane got new boots and she wouldn't take them off! Love you girl.

Our first dinner out as a family

Sept 15, 1026 We have been waiting for when we felt comfortable taking the kids out to eat and today was the day. We went to Shooters because it is loud there anyway so it wasn't going to matter if they were loud but they weren't. They did a great job! Lots of people wanted to talk to them but they just stared at them until the walked away. One waitress shared her gummy bears and they were instantly friends with her. All in all, I think we can do it again but only to loud places at non busy times of the day.

Mid September 2016

Not only did Kane love her outfit today but she wanted to keep putting the bow on! We loved it! Braxten was sleepy today and wanted to cuddle on the couch - that lasted about 3 minutes.

B asked Daddy to move the ottoman over to the table to play. He is a pretty  smart little man to figure out how to be able to play. Always thinking, always moving.

Cuddle time with the boys before bed.

We love the park! The slides are a favorite and the trail to run just can't be beat! Ready..set..go!

Kane would rather play with the clips on the swing instead of actually moving.

Kane sit down in the tub - these were the faces as a reaction. Yea right Mommy - NO!

Recreations outlet after gymnastics class is the perfect morning. So many fun toys to play with.

Birthday party day - Kyah and Amanda

Kyah had her birthday party at recreations outlet, one of our favorite places but we were a little late because sleepy head just couldn't get up. Once we got there we had so much fun on bikes, jumping, swinging, climbing in houses and playing basketball.

Amanda's birthday in Newport at Brio and then bowling! What a fun night!!!
